Memphis Grizzlies drop Game 1 to Lakers at home

It's not often that a first-round playoff game between the No. 2 and No. 7 seeds in the same conference has as many big names as this year's matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ja Morant has been an all-star twice in his four seasons, and he plays with Jaren Jackson Jr., who is an all-star for the first time, and Desmond Bane, who is one of the NBA's up-and-coming shooting guards.

At 2 p.m., Game 1 of the first round between the Lakers and the Grizzlies will start on ABC. Before moving to Los Angeles, the first two games of the series will take place.

Memphis is very focused on one part of the game: getting the ball back. Since Memphis's best rebounder, Steven Adams, is not likely to be back for the playoffs, other players will have to step up.

This will be the first time this season that James, Morant, and Davis will all be on the court at the same time during a Lakers-Grizzlies game. Morant and James both played in the first game.
